FAQs

Can I use these pads with regular underwear?

These pads are specifically designed for use with TENA Fix pants. Using regular underwear may result in the pad shifting out of place, which can cause leaks.

Are these pads suitable for nighttime use?

Yes, the Maxi level of absorption is designed to handle heavy leaks, making them suitable for overnight protection when fitted correctly.

How often should I change the pad?

Pads should be changed as soon as they become soiled or when you feel wetness to ensure skin health and comfort.

Are these pads unisex?

Yes, the TENA ProSkin Comfort range is designed for both men and women.

How do I determine if I have the right size?

The fit is largely determined by the TENA Fix pants. Ensure the pants are snug enough to keep the pad pressed firmly against the body without causing discomfort.

Troubleshooting

The pad shifts during movement

Ensure you are using the correct size of TENA Fix pants and that the pad is centered properly before pulling the pants up.

Experiencing leakage at the edges

Check that the anatomical cup shape is correctly aligned with the body and that the fixation pants are providing enough compression to hold the edges flat.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Anatomically shaped for a snug and secure fit
Breathable materials promote healthy skin
Easy to change while standing or lying down
High-capacity absorbency for moderate to heavy incontinence

Cons

Requires TENA Fix pants for proper usage
Not a standalone product (requires a two-piece system)
Bulker than standard absorbent underwear due to high-capacity core

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best results, place the TENA ProSkin Comfort pad securely inside TENA Fix pants, ensuring the wider part of the pad is positioned at the back. When putting the garment on, pull the fixation pants up like regular underwear, smoothing out the edges to ensure the pad sits flat against the skin without bunching. For care, these pads are intended for single use and should be disposed of in a sanitary bin after each change. Ensure the skin is kept clean and dry by performing regular changes, especially after significant leaks.
