Each kit is comprised of multiple 500x500mm square tiles, which interconnect by a simple snap together fixing method; so no specialist tools are required. The tiles are made in the UK from 100% recycled plastic. The open grid design of the tiles allows you to fill them with pea gravel or similar small aggregate to reinforce the structure, improve drainage and also reduce the likelihood of splashback during rainy days. Quicker to lay and more cost effective than pouring a solid concrete foundation and still just as strong; capable of supporting more than 300 tonnes per square metre! Each EcoBase Fastfit DIY Shed Base kit is supplied as standard with a pre-cut weed suppressing membrane, for placement beneath the EcoBase being formed. Note: EcoBase Fastfit Shed Bases are compatible with almost any garden building that includes an integral floor, whether wooden or plastic but may not be compatible with metal sheds.
