Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Clean the Door: Ensure the area of your door where the blind will be applied is completely clean and dry. Use a mild cleaner if necessary, then wipe thoroughly to remove any residue, dust, or moisture. This is crucial for strong adhesive bonding.
- Position Fasteners: Carefully peel the backing from the self-adhesive fastener stickers. Apply these stickers to the door frame directly above the glass panel where you want the blind to hang. Press firmly for several seconds to ensure good contact.
- Attach the Blind: Align the top edge of the Easyblinds fabric with the applied fastener stickers. Press the fabric against the stickers to attach it securely.
- Roll and Secure (Optional): To roll up the blind, simply roll the fabric upwards. Use the included straps to hold the rolled blind in position.
- Cut to Size (If needed): If the blind is too wide or long, you can easily cut the `easyblackout` fabric to your desired dimensions using sharp scissors. The fabric is designed not to fray.
Compatibility
The Easydoor Door Blind is specifically designed for glazed doors, including both external and internal types. It is available in various lengths and widths to fit most standard door glass panels. Its no-drill installation makes it compatible with most door materials and finishes without causing damage.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: Info needed: [Cleaning instructions for the blackout fabric are not provided in the product description. Typically, a damp cloth for spot cleaning would be recommended for similar fabrics.]
- Adhesive Longevity: The self-adhesive fasteners are designed for strong adhesion. To prolong their effectiveness, ensure the initial application surface is perfectly clean and avoid frequent repositioning if possible. If the adhesive ever weakens, replacement fastener stickers might be available.
