Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best results, use a sharp, fine-gauge sewing machine needle (such as 60/8 or 70/10) to minimize thread pulls. Because the fabric is lightweight and prone to shifting, use silk pins or pattern weights to keep the fabric stable during cutting. For seams, consider using a French seam to keep the raw edges neatly enclosed within the sheer layers. When pressing, always use a low-heat setting with a pressing cloth to avoid damaging the delicate iridescent finish or melting the fibers. It is best to hand wash in cool water and hang to dry to preserve the unique crinkled texture.
