Blanket feels stiff after washing
Ensure you are washing at 40 degrees and have not used any harsh detergents. A second rinse cycle might help. Avoid tumble drying, as this can sometimes stiffen fleece.
Color fading
Wash inside out in cold water if possible, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when drying. Always adhere to the recommended 40-degree wash.
Shedding fibers
Initial washes may cause minor shedding. Wash separately or with like colors for the first few washes. A gentle shake outdoors can remove loose fibers.
