The Result Waterproof Jacket & Trousers Set is an ideal solution for outdoor workers, hikers, and commuters who require reliable, heavy-duty protection against the elements. Crafted from durable 190gsm polyester with a 2000mm waterproof rating, this set keeps you dry during intense downpours; however, while it offers excellent windproofing and ventilation, its heavy-duty design may feel slightly bulky for high-intensity aerobic activities like trail running.

It indicates the fabric can withstand the pressure of a 2000mm water column over a 24-hour period before water penetrates, suitable for moderate to heavy rain.
Check if the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating needs refreshing. You can use a spray-on waterproofing treatment designed for polyester garments.
Clear any debris from the zipper teeth and apply a light silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth movement.
To ensure the longevity of the waterproofing, avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners when washing, as these can strip the water-repellent coating. It is best to wash the items by hand or on a delicate cycle in cool water and allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators. For setup, the elasticated waist on the trousers is designed to pull on quickly over standard clothing. When wearing the jacket, ensure the tear-release hood is tightened to your preference to prevent wind-driven rain from entering the neck area. Store the set in a cool, dry place and ensure it is completely dry before folding to prevent mold or fabric degradation.
