FAQs
Does this wardrobe come with internal lights?
No, this model does not include built-in internal lighting.
Can I remove the drawers?
The drawers are designed as part of the structural unit for stability; they are not intended to be removed for daily use.
How many people are needed for assembly?
Due to the size and weight of the panels, we strongly recommend at least two people for a safe and efficient assembly process.
Is the mirror on a specific door?
The mirror is integrated into one of the doors; refer to the assembly instructions to position it according to your preference during setup.
What tools are required for assembly?
You will generally need a screwdriver and a mallet or hammer, though specific tool requirements are listed in the provided instruction manual.
Troubleshooting
Doors appear misaligned after assembly.
Adjust the hinge screws located on the door brackets to shift the doors horizontally or vertically until they hang straight.
Drawers are sticking or not closing flush.
Check that the drawer runners are level and securely fastened to the frame; remove any debris from the tracks.
Unit feels unstable.
Ensure the floor is level and all frame fasteners are tightened fully according to the manual; ensure the back panel is correctly installed as it provides significant structural rigidity.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Generous 270cm width provides excellent storage capacity.
- Built-in drawers help keep small items organized and off shelves.
- Mirrored door adds functionality and creates an illusion of more space.
- Consistent, durable white finish matches most contemporary bedroom decor.
Cons
- Requires a large wall area due to its 270cm footprint.
- Arrives flat-packed, requiring self-assembly.
- Six-door configuration may feel overwhelming in smaller or narrower rooms.
Setup, Compatibility & Care
The Ben Wardrobe arrives flat-packed. It is recommended to assemble the unit in the exact room where it will be used, given its large final dimensions. Ensure you have adequate floor space to lay out the panels before beginning assembly.
Care Instructions:
- Wipe down surfaces with a soft, damp cloth to maintain the finish.
- Avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners or chemicals that could damage the white coating.
- Periodically check the hardware, such as hinges and drawer runners, to ensure they remain tight and aligned after the initial settling period.
