The TWSBI VAC 700R Fountain Pen in Clear is a vacuum-filling pen with a smoke-coloured grip section and plunger cap. It features chromed metal trim with a matt metal pocket clip and the TWSBI logo on the cap. The pen is equipped with a polished steel nib, available in various sizes, engraved with TWSBI branding. Its vacuum-filling mechanism efficiently fills the barrel with ink in a single stroke. The sealing mechanism near the nib provides extra protection against leaks. For immediate use, you can uncap and write. For extended writing, unscrew the piston knob to allow ink flow, but do not pull it up. The pen measures 146.9mm long when closed, 132.7mm when open, and 174mm when posted. The maximum barrel diameter is 15.9mm, with the grip section tapering to 10mm. It weighs 32g. Please note that vacuum-filler pens do not accept cartridges. The pen is supplied in a gift box. Like all TWSBI fountain pens stocked, this pen can be fully disassembled for cleaning and servicing. Instructions and necessary tools are included. However, disassembly is recommended only for experienced users and is not required for normal operation. Disassembly is at your own risk.
