Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This is a Plug & Play device. Simply connect the HDMI Type A connector at one end to your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, PC) and the other HDMI Type A connector to your display device (e.g., TV, projector, monitor). Ensure both connected devices have HDMI ports that support HDMI 2.0 specifications for optimal performance, especially for 4K 60Hz HDR content.
Compatibility: The cable is compliant with HDMI v2.0 and v1.4, making it backward compatible with older HDMI standards. It supports HDCP 2.2 for protected content, ARC, CEC, and EDID functions. Ensure your source and display devices support these features for full functionality.
Care: Handle the cable with care, avoiding sharp bends or kinks, especially near the connectors, as this can damage the fiber optic core. Keep connectors clean by gently wiping them with a dry, lint-free cloth if necessary. Avoid exposing the cable to extreme temperatures or moisture.
