Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts, including the ottoman body and the four wooden legs, are present.
- Attach Legs: Locate the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the ottoman. Align each chunky black wooden leg with a hole and securely screw it into place. Ensure all legs are tightened firmly to guarantee stability.
- Position: Place the ottoman in your desired location, ensuring it's on a level surface.
Compatibility
This storage ottoman is designed for indoor use and complements a wide range of home decor styles, from modern to traditional. Its grey color offers a neutral palette that can easily integrate with existing furniture and color schemes. It is particularly well-suited for bedrooms (at the foot of the bed), living rooms, entryways, or even large hallways where extra seating and storage are beneficial.
Care & Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: For general dust and light dirt, gently wipe the upholstered surface with a soft, dry cloth.
- Spot Cleaning: For spills or minor stains, use a clean cloth dampened with a small amount of mild, pH-neutral detergent and water. Blot the area gently; do not rub vigorously. Allow to air dry completely.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or bleach, as these can damage the fabric and finish.
- Protect from Sun: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fabric fading. Position the ottoman away from direct sun if possible.
- Leg Maintenance: Periodically check that the wooden legs remain tight. If they become loose, re-tighten them by hand. Consider adding felt pads to the bottom of the legs to protect your flooring.
