Full details
The 5five Tropical Bathroom Bin is designed for homeowners and renters looking to combine functional waste management with a touch of decorative flair in small spaces like bathrooms or bedrooms. Its standout feature is the combination of a bold tropical print with a practical, anti-mould treated bamboo lid, offering both aesthetic appeal and durability in humid environments. While the 3-litre capacity is perfect for light waste, users should note that its small size requires frequent emptying if used for high-volume disposal.

FAQs
Does this bin include an inner liner?
Yes, it features a removable plastic inner bucket for easy emptying and cleaning.
Is the bamboo lid waterproof?
The lid is treated to be anti-mould; however, it should not be submerged in water.
Can I use standard bin liners with this?
Yes, standard small-sized bin liners will work, though ensure they are tucked in so they do not show.
How do I clean the exterior?
Use a damp, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges that could scratch the tropical print.
Is the pedal mechanism replaceable?
No, the pedal mechanism is integrated into the structural frame of the bin.
What are the primary dimensions?
The bin is designed for a 3-litre capacity, making it compact enough for most bathroom corners or under-sink areas.
Troubleshooting
The lid does not close completely.
Check if the inner bucket is seated correctly or if a bag edge is preventing the lid from sealing.
The pedal feels stiff.
Ensure the bin is on a level surface and check the rear hinge for any debris or obstructions.
Signs of water spots on the lid.
Wipe the bamboo lid with a dry, lint-free cloth and apply a light coat of food-grade mineral oil if the finish appears dull.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the bin is straightforward: simply place the inner bucket inside the housing and ensure the pedal link is unobstructed. To maintain the finish, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners on the bamboo lid to preserve the anti-mould treatment. The product is part of a coordinated range by 5five, so you can pair it with other matching tropical-themed bathroom accessories for a cohesive look. Keep the bin away from direct heat sources to prevent the bamboo from drying out or warping.
