The Winmau Michael van Gerwen SE Switch Point Darts are designed for serious dart players and enthusiasts who demand professional-grade precision and personalized control over their equipment. These darts offer exceptional balance and flight stability, making them ideal for refining your technique during both intense practice sessions and competitive match play. However, users should note that while the Switch Point system provides significant versatility, it requires occasional maintenance to ensure the points remain firmly seated and secure within the barrels.

No, these darts are specifically designed for the proprietary Switch Point system, which requires compatible switchable points.
While these are professional-grade darts, they are suitable for anyone committed to the sport, though beginners may benefit from professional guidance on grip and stance.
It is good practice to wipe down your barrels after every session to maintain the integrity of the grip pattern.
Standard sets typically include flights and shafts, but please check your specific product packaging as contents may vary.
The primary benefit is the ability to swap points quickly to adapt to different board conditions without needing a separate repointing tool.
Use the designated tool to tighten the switch point mechanism to ensure it is fully seated in the barrel.
Check that the flights and shafts are straight and undamaged; replace components if they show signs of wear or warping.
Wipe the barrel with a clean, dry cloth to remove natural skin oils and debris that can accumulate in the grip grooves.
Setting up these darts involves ensuring the Switch Point is fully seated within the barrel. It is recommended to check the points before every session to ensure they have not loosened during play. When cleaning your darts, avoid using harsh chemicals; a soft, dry cloth is usually sufficient to remove dust and chalk buildup from the grip zones. If you decide to use different point lengths, ensure they are compatible with the specific Switch Point housing provided by Winmau to avoid damaging the internal threads of the barrel.
