FAQs

Are these earrings hypoallergenic?

Vivienne Westwood does not explicitly label these as hypoallergenic; individuals with metal sensitivities should exercise caution.

Can I wear these in the shower?

It is not recommended. Water, soap, and shampoo can compromise the crystal settings and the polished finish over time.

What is the weight of each earring?

The total weight of the pair is 4.58 grams, making them very lightweight for daily use.

Are the crystals real gemstones?

No, these are high-quality light-rose decorative crystals chosen for their aesthetic appeal and brilliance.

How do I ensure the earrings are authentic?

Authentic pieces feature the subtle brand engraving on the back and the signature cut-out detailing around the orb motif.

Troubleshooting

Earring backing feels loose

Gently squeeze the two sides of the butterfly clasp together to increase tension on the post.

Crystals look dull or cloudy

Use a dry, soft microfiber cloth to gently buff the surface of the crystals to remove skin oils and residue.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your earrings remain in top condition, insert the post gently into your piercing and secure the provided butterfly clasp until it feels firm. These earrings are intended for standard pierced ears. For care, avoid contact with perfumes, hairsprays, and lotions, as these can dull the crystals and damage the metal plating. Clean them periodically using a soft, lint-free polishing cloth. Always remove them before swimming, showering, or engaging in strenuous physical activity to prevent moisture or mechanical damage.
