The VDV II Series is designed to eliminate guesswork and documents proper operation when installing, maintaining and troubleshooting data, voice and video cabling. It performs standard tests for copper cabling including coaxial (F-type), 6-pin (RJ11/12), and 8-pin (RJ45) connectors, testing for miswires, opens, shorts, and split pairs. It tests UTP and STP cabling, has an analogue tone generator, voltage protection, and instantaneous results. It is compatible with optional numbered remotes (not supplied) and AnyWARE Cloud connectivity and reporting via AnyWARE App, with a larger 2.9" display and a backlit screen. The package includes a tester, dual-port remote unit, coaxial remote unit, 9V PP3 battery, TREND Networks QR card, 2x RJ45 to crocodile clip cables, 2x screened RJ45 to RJ45 cables, 2x RJ12 to RJ12 cables, F-type plug to F-type plug cable, F-81 barrel splice, and BNC female to F-type plug adapter.
