FAQs

What is the total capacity of the kitchen bin?

The total capacity of the kitchen bin is 56 liters.

How do I clean the fingerprint-resistant surface?

You can clean the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Mild detergent or a dedicated stainless steel cleaner can be used for tougher marks, followed by buffing dry.

Are the inner buckets removable?

Yes, the bin features removable inner buckets for easy emptying and cleaning.

Does the lid stay open on its own?

The lid is designed with a soft-close mechanism. It should stay open once lifted to its maximum angle, but it is not a self-propping lid.

What type of bin liners should I use?

Standard 56L bin liners can be used for the overall bin, or liners that fit the approximate 26.5L capacity of each individual inner bucket.

Is the bin suitable for outdoor use?

This kitchen bin is designed for indoor use, primarily in kitchens, to maintain its finish and functionality.

Troubleshooting

Lid does not close softly

Ensure the lid mechanism is not obstructed. Check that the bin is on a level surface. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

Exterior surface shows marks or smudges

Wipe the surface with a damp microfiber cloth. For persistent marks, use a mild stainless steel cleaner and buff dry.

Inner bucket is difficult to remove

Ensure there is no waste overflowing or caught on the edges. If the liner is stuck, carefully remove excess waste before lifting.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Facilitates efficient waste and recycling separation.
  • Large capacity minimizes frequent emptying.
  • Quiet soft-close mechanism adds convenience.
  • Durable and easy-to-maintain fingerprint-resistant surface.
  • Inner buckets simplify bag changes and cleaning.

Cons

  • Requires a notable amount of kitchen space due to its 56L capacity.
  • The split lid, while space-saving in operation, may require a specific opening arc.
  • Primarily designed for indoor kitchen use.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Unpack the bin and remove all internal packaging.
  2. Place the bin in its desired location.
  3. Insert the removable inner buckets into each compartment.
  4. Place bin liners into the inner buckets as needed.

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with standard 56L bin liners or liners that fit the individual inner bucket dimensions (approximately 26.5L per bucket).
  • Suitable for standard kitchen environments.

Care:

  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
  • Remove inner buckets for cleaning. They can be washed with warm, soapy water. Ensure they are completely dry before reinserting.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the stainless steel finish.
