Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Installation: Turn off your computer and disconnect the power cord. Open the computer case.
- Locate the PCIe Connector: Find the 6-pin PCIe power connector from your power supply. Also, locate the 8-pin power connector on your new graphics card.
- Connect the Adapter: Plug the 6-pin connector from the power supply into the 6-pin end of the adapter cable. Then, connect the 8-pin end of the adapter cable to the 8-pin power connector on your graphics card.
- Secure the Graphics Card: Ensure the graphics card is properly seated in the PCIe slot.
- Close the Case: Close the computer case and reconnect the power cord.
- Power On: Power on your computer. If the graphics card is installed correctly, it should function as expected.
Compatibility: This adapter is compatible with various graphics cards that require an 8-pin PCIe power connection. Always ensure that your power supply provides sufficient wattage to meet the graphics card's requirements.
