The Oypla Portable Camping Barrel BBQ is an ideal solution for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, and garden grillers who prioritize versatility and authentic charcoal flavor in a compact form factor. Its standout benefit is the dual-mode design that allows it to function as a traditional lidded barrel grill or expand into a wide flat surface for double the cooking capacity; however, users should note that as a portable unit, it lacks the heat management bells and whistles found on large permanent stationary grills.

It is highly recommended to place the BBQ on a heat-resistant surface or a stone patio, as the base can become very hot during operation.
The expanded double-grill surface is typically ideal for cooking for 2-4 people at once.
No, you will need to provide your own charcoal, wood, and fire-lighting materials.
The main body and grill grates are not suitable for dishwashers. Hand washing with warm soapy water is required.
Yes, the barrel design provides some natural wind protection for the coals, though we recommend finding a sheltered spot for better heat retention.
Ensure the side vents are not fully closed and check that you have a sufficient layer of hot coals under the cooking grate.
Lightly brush the grill grates with a high-smoke-point cooking oil before placing food on the surface.
Check the hinge mechanisms for any debris or ash buildup and ensure the locking catch is fully disengaged.
Setting up the Oypla Portable BBQ is straightforward; simply place the unit on a flat, non-flammable surface, release the locking catch, and unfold the barrel to your desired configuration. Before your first use, it is recommended to perform a 'burn-in' by heating the grill empty to remove any manufacturing residues.
To ensure longevity, always allow the unit to cool completely before attempting to close it for transport. Clean the grill grates after each use with a stiff wire brush while the metal is still slightly warm to prevent grease buildup. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can affect the silver finish and contaminate future meals; simple soapy water and a thorough drying are sufficient to prevent rust.
