Full details
Upgrade your road or cyclo cross bike to disc brakes with the Shimano BR-R317 cable-operated mechanical disc brake caliper. This caliper is compatible with existing road brake levers or STIs, offering disc brake power without the complexity of hydraulic systems. It features adjustable pad clearance for easy setup and a lightweight, low-profile body forged from a single piece of alloy for increased rigidity and reduced weight. The long arm design maximizes performance and provides light braking control, especially when paired with New Super SLR brake levers. It also includes a Shim-less mounting system for quick and easy setup. This post-type caliper can be adapted to International Standard (IS) or post mount configurations.
