The Sealey Safety Guard (YKSG30) is an essential safety accessory for professionals and hobbyists operating YK30F, YK30FAH, and YK30FFP hydraulic presses. It provides a vital protective barrier against flying debris or dislodged workpieces, significantly improving workshop safety. While it is highly effective at preventing accidental injury, users should note that it is model-specific and requires manual height adjustment during the setup of different workpieces.

The guard is designed to bolt onto either side, but you would need two units if you wish to have full protection on both the left and right sides.
No, this guard is specifically engineered for the YK30F, YK30FAH, and YK30FFP series presses only.
No, you should adjust the height before placing the workpiece under the ram and applying pressure.
The unit is designed as a complete assembly; for safety reasons, we recommend replacing the entire guard if the mesh sustains structural damage.
When properly adjusted, it provides necessary clearance for workpieces while maintaining a safe operating barrier.
Check the spring-loaded clips for debris or metal filings that may be preventing the latch from fully engaging.
Ensure that the mounting bolts are fully tightened and that the guard is mounted flush against the press frame.
To install the guard, align the mounting brackets with the pre-drilled holes on either side of your press table and bolt it firmly into place. Ensure all hardware is tightened before operation. Compatibility is strictly limited to Sealey models YK30F, YK30FAH, and YK30FFP; attempting to fit this on other presses may result in improper alignment or failure to lock correctly. Regarding care, periodically inspect the mesh for signs of tearing or deformation. Wipe down the frame with a dry cloth and ensure the spring-loaded clips remain free of heavy grease or metal filings to maintain the quick-lock functionality.
