Yes, the ceramic stone can be used in a conventional oven, provided it fits the dimensions.
Only use water and a scrub brush or a dry cloth to scrape away debris. Never submerge the stone in water or use dish soap.
The oven will stop heating once the 60-minute mechanical timer reaches the off position.
No, you should place the oven on a heat-resistant mat or a trivet to protect delicate surfaces from high heat transfer.
The oven is designed to accommodate pizzas up to 12 inches in diameter.
Ensure the power plug is fully inserted into a working outlet and the 60-minute timer dial is turned past the zero position.
Ensure the stone is fully preheated and lightly dust the bottom of your pizza dough with semolina or cornmeal before sliding it into the oven.
Check that no flour or toppings have fallen onto the heating element or bottom of the oven and wipe the interior clean once cooled.
Place the unit on a flat, heat-resistant surface with at least 10cm of clearance on all sides to allow for proper airflow. Before the first use, run the oven empty at the maximum temperature for 15 minutes to burn off any manufacturing residues. To care for the ceramic stone, never use soap or detergents as the material is porous and will absorb chemicals. Simply scrape off burnt food particles once the stone is completely cool and wipe it with a clean, damp cloth. The stone must be completely dry before the next use to prevent cracking.
