The Crayola Sidewalk Chalk 48-count set is designed for children and artists looking to transform outdoor surfaces into vibrant canvases. Its primary benefit is the combination of a high-pigment, wash-away formula and an innovative anti-roll design that keeps the chalk pieces on the pavement rather than rolling into the grass. While it offers excellent color variety, users should note that the chalk is intended exclusively for outdoor surfaces and may leave visible dust residue until washed away with water.

No, this is sidewalk chalk designed for outdoor pavement. It is significantly coarser than indoor blackboard chalk and may scratch or permanently stain traditional chalkboards.
Yes, all Crayola chalk products are non-toxic and safe for children when used as intended.
While the formula is washable, it is pigment-based and may leave dust on fabric. Most chalk dust can be removed by shaking or washing the garment according to the fabric care instructions.
The drawings are temporary and will last until it rains or you wash the area with a hose.
No, this is a 48-piece set. Individual colors cannot be replaced once they are completely used.
Use a stiff-bristled broom or a scrub brush with water to agitate the area while rinsing.
Ensure the chalk is stored in a climate-controlled area away from excessive dampness or extreme heat.
There is no complex setup required for this product; simply unbox and begin drawing on outdoor ground surfaces. Compatibility is limited to outdoor masonry, asphalt, and concrete; it is not recommended for wood decks or delicate stone surfaces that may absorb the pigment dyes. To ensure longevity, store the box in a dry, cool environment. Humidity can sometimes soften the chalk, so keep the container lid or packaging closed and away from moisture when not in use. If a stick snaps, the broken pieces remain perfectly functional for drawing.
