Oxford Top Box - Black - 52 Litres

The Oxford Top Box has a capacity of 52 litres, suitable for storing one or two helmets, or other luggage.

The top box itself does not typically include the base plate. A compatible base plate needs to be mounted to your motorcycle's luggage rack, and this is often sold separately or as part of a kit.

It attaches to a pre-mounted base plate via a secure locking mechanism, which can be released with an internal bolt for removal.

While designed to be weather-resistant, it's recommended to use waterproof inner bags for sensitive items during prolonged exposure to heavy rain, as seals can degrade over time.

Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Ensure the lock mechanism remains free of debris.

The top box comes with two keys. If both are lost, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a locksmith for assistance in re-keying or replacement, as there is no master key system.

The top box requires a compatible motorcycle luggage rack and base plate. While many bikes can be fitted with these, direct compatibility should be verified for your specific motorcycle model.

Ensure there are no obstructions in the lock mechanism or the corresponding slot. Check that the box is fully seated on the base plate. Clean and lubricate the lock if necessary.

Locate and loosen the internal bolt that secures the box to the base plate. Ensure you are turning it in the correct direction (usually counter-clockwise).

Check the seal around the lid for damage or debris. Ensure the box is properly closed and latched. If the seal is damaged, consider replacement.

The reflector is a bonded part of the box. If damaged, it may need to be replaced as a whole unit. Contact the manufacturer or retailer for replacement options.
