Product Information

Full details

The GoPro Handlebar/Seatpost/Pole Mount (AGTSM-001) is designed for mountain bikers, road cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts who need a reliable, rock-solid way to capture high-intensity footage from their handlebars or seatposts. Its primary benefit is a secure, non-slip grip that holds cameras steady on rough terrain, though users should be aware that proper installation is required to ensure the mount remains stationary during heavy vibration.

FAQs

Does this mount fit all GoPro cameras?

It is compatible with specific models including the HERO7 series, HERO6 Black, HERO5 Black, HERO (2018), and HERO5 Session.

Can I use this on a ski pole?

Yes, the mount is designed to fit a wide range of pole diameters, making it suitable for ski poles, seatposts, and handlebars.

Is the rotation locked into place?

The 360-degree rotation is designed to be smooth yet firm; once you set your angle, it holds in place during normal riding.

Does it come with a weather-proof coating?

The mount is made of high-quality, durable materials designed to withstand outdoor elements; however, we recommend rinsing after exposure to mud or saltwater.

Can I mount the camera facing backwards?

Yes, thanks to the 360-degree rotation, you can rotate the camera to face backwards toward you or behind the bike.

Troubleshooting

Camera shifts or tilts during the ride.

Ensure the rubber grip inserts are clean and the mounting bolt is tightened firmly against the handlebar.

Mount feels loose on thin handlebars.

Use additional rubber shims or ensure the clamp is adjusted to its smallest diameter setting.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely secure non-slip grip
Full 360-degree camera rotation
Versatile mounting for various pole diameters
High-durability construction for off-road use

Cons

Requires proper tightening to prevent shifting on very rough trails
Compatible mainly with specific older HERO models
Not suitable for extremely thick oversized handlebars

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the mount, open the clamp, place it around your handlebar or pole, and tighten the secure bolt until the mount is immovable. Ensure the rubberized grip inserts are clean to maximize friction. This model is compatible with HERO7 Black, HERO7 Silver, HERO7 White, HERO Fusion, HERO6 Black, HERO5 Black, HERO (2018), and HERO5 Session cameras. To care for your mount, rinse it with fresh water after riding in muddy or salty environments to prevent debris build-up in the rotating mechanism. Periodically inspect the locking bolt for any signs of wear.
