Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Ninja Foodi ZEROSTICK cookware, follow these guidelines:
Initial Setup:
- Unpack and Inspect: Carefully remove all packaging and inspect each piece for any damage.
- First Wash: Before first use, wash all pots and pans thoroughly with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse well and dry completely.
Compatibility:
- Hob Types: This set is compatible with all hob types, including: `Induction`, `Gas`, `Electric`, `Ceramic`, and `Halogen`.
- Oven Safety: All pieces are oven safe up to `260 degrees Celsius` (500 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Utensils: Designed to be safe with `metal utensils`. For prolonged life, silicone, wooden, or plastic utensils are also excellent choices.
Care and Maintenance:
- Preheating: Always preheat your pan gradually. Overheating an empty pan can damage the non-stick coating.
- Heat Control: Use appropriate heat settings. High heat should generally be reserved for boiling or searing, while medium to low heat is ideal for most everyday cooking.
- Cleaning: The pans are `dishwasher safe`. However, for best results and to extend the life of the non-stick coating, hand washing with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge is highly recommended. Avoid abrasive scourers, steel wool, or harsh chemical cleaners.
- Cool Down Before Washing: Always allow the pan to cool completely before washing it. Submerging a hot pan in cold water can cause thermal shock, leading to warping or damage to the non-stick coating.
- Storage: When stacking pans, place a soft cloth, paper towel, or dedicated pan protector between them to prevent scratching the non-stick surface.
- Handle Care: Periodically check and tighten any loose handles or lid knobs with a screwdriver, if applicable.
