Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool before use.
- Select the desired cooking plates (sandwich, panini, or waffle).
- Align the plates with the slots and gently press down until they click into place.
- Wipe the plates with a damp cloth before the first use.
- Place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Compatibility:
This snack maker is designed for standard household use. It is compatible with common bread types for sandwiches, as well as standard waffle and panini fillings. Use ingredients that do not excessively overflow to avoid spills onto the heating elements.
Care and Cleaning:
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the non-stick plates with a damp cloth or a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can damage the non-stick coating.
- For stubborn residue, you can lightly grease the cool plates and allow it to sit for a few minutes before wiping.
- Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
