The Sealey Needle Set (SA51/16) is designed for professional mechanics and metalworkers who rely on pneumatic needle scalers to remove rust, scale, and hardened coatings from metal surfaces. These replacement needles provide excellent cleaning power and durability for restorative tasks, though it is important to note that this specific set is only compatible with designated Sealey tool models and is not a universal replacement for all brands of scalers.

No, these needles are specifically designed for Sealey models SA51, SA52, and SA661.
This set includes 12 individual needles.
Each needle is 3mm in diameter and 125mm in length.
These are primarily designed for metal surface preparation; using them on stone may result in rapid wear or damage to the needles.
Replace the needles once you notice the tips have become rounded or blunted, which will significantly reduce their effectiveness at removing scale.
Check that the needles are correctly seated in the driver and that the retaining spring is tightened securely.
Ensure you are not applying too much downward pressure; let the tool speed and vibration handle the material removal.
Verify that your air compressor is providing the correct PSI and airflow as required by the host tool (SA51/52/661).
To install, remove the retaining spring from your compatible air needle scaler (SA51, SA52, or SA661) and extract the old needle assembly. Slide the new 12-piece set into the needle driver and securely reattach the spring housing. Ensure that all needles are seated evenly before operation.
To prolong the life of your needles, keep the scaler mechanism lightly lubricated with air tool oil and ensure the air supply is free of moisture. Store the unit in a dry environment to prevent premature corrosion of the steel needles.
