FAQs

How much more absorbent is Regina Plenty Original compared to standard kitchen towels?

Regina Plenty Original is 50% more absorbent than standard kitchen towels, meaning it can handle more liquid with fewer sheets.

Can I really reuse these paper towels?

Yes, the sheets are designed to be scrubbable, wringable, and reusable for lighter tasks. However, they are still disposable after heavy use or for hygiene-sensitive cleaning.

What does 'certified compostable sheets' mean?

It means the individual sheets have been tested and certified to break down in both home and industrial composting environments according to specific standards (NF T 50-800 and EN14995).

Is the entire product packaging compostable?

The sheets are compostable, but the packaging is made from 55% recycled plastic and is not compostable. Please recycle the packaging where facilities exist.

How should I dispose of the paper towels after use?

For food messes and when sheets are soiled, they can be disposed of in general waste or, if free from contaminants, composted. For cleaning tasks, dispose of according to local waste regulations.

Where can I find verification for the product claims?

For verification of claims like '50% More Absorbent' or composting certifications, you can email verify.uk@essity.com.

What are the dimensions of each sheet?

The product information does not specify the exact dimensions of each sheet, but it is designed for efficient coverage in a standard roll format.

Troubleshooting

Towel tears too easily

Ensure you are using the wet strength feature correctly; for tougher scrubbing, use a damp sheet and apply moderate pressure. Avoid excessive force on dry sheets for heavy-duty tasks.

Absorbency seems lower than expected

Confirm you are using the Plenty Original variant. For maximum absorbency, ensure the sheet is unfolded to its full size before use.

Difficulty composting sheets

Verify that the sheets are free from non-compostable materials (like certain cleaning chemicals or large food waste) before placing them in compost. Check local composting guidelines for acceptance of paper products.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Highly absorbent for quick spill cleanup.
Strong even when wet, preventing tearing.
Can be scrubbed, wrung out, and reused for lighter tasks.
Compostable sheets reduce environmental impact.

Cons

Single-use nature still generates waste.
May be overkill for very minor spills requiring less absorbency.
Reusable aspect is for lighter tasks, not heavy-duty cleaning.
Certification details require verification via email.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: No specific setup is required. Simply place the roll on a standard kitchen roll holder for easy access.

Compatibility: Compatible with all standard kitchen roll holders. Suitable for use on most kitchen surfaces, including countertops, stovetops, and tables. It can be used for food preparation and general cleaning tasks.

Care: As a disposable product, these paper towels are designed for single use or limited reuse for lighter tasks. Once soiled or used for cleaning, dispose of them appropriately. For compostable disposal, ensure sheets are free from non-compostable contaminants and follow local composting guidelines.
