Product Information

Full details

The Fridja f20 Handheld Clothes Steamer Pro is designed for individuals seeking a professional-grade finish for their garments without the need for a traditional ironing board. Its unique selling point is the integrated suction technology that secures fabric against the heated soleplate, simplifying the steaming process for users who need one-handed operation. While it offers impressive versatility with both steam and dry-ironing capabilities, its 90ml water tank size requires frequent refilling during longer sessions.

FAQs

Can I use the f20 on delicate silk?

Yes, the steamer is safe for most delicate fabrics, but it is recommended to keep the soleplate moving and use the lower steam setting.

Do I need to use distilled water?

While tap water is generally fine, using distilled or filtered water will significantly extend the life of your steamer by preventing scale buildup.

How do I activate the dry iron mode?

You can toggle the device settings to disable the steam function, allowing the soleplate to heat up for dry ironing.

How often should I clean the filter?

It is best to check the filter every few uses; if you see dust or lint accumulation, wash it with warm water and let it dry completely.

Can I use this on heavy curtains?

Yes, the powerful steam output makes it effective for refreshing and removing creases from hanging curtains.

Troubleshooting

Suction feels weak

Clean the washable filter and ensure the intake vents are not obstructed by fabric or lint.

Water spitting from the nozzle

Ensure the device is held at the correct angle and the water tank is securely clicked into place.

Steam output is inconsistent

Run the self-clean cycle to remove any internal scale buildup or mineral deposits from the boiler.

Pros and Cons

Pros

One-handed operation thanks to suction
Versatile rotating head for hard-to-reach areas
Fast 30-second heat-up time
Can function as both a steamer and a dry iron
Portable and compact design

Cons

Small 90ml water tank capacity
Not ideal for high-volume ironing tasks
Requires regular cleaning of the filter to maintain suction

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin, fill the 90ml detachable water tank with water, ensuring you do not overfill. Once the unit is powered, wait 30 seconds for the indicator light to show the device is ready. For fabric care, always check the garment label; use the lower heat steam settings for synthetics and the higher heat for cotton or linen. After each use, allow the soleplate to cool completely before storing. Regularly rinse the water tank and inspect the washable filter; if you notice a decrease in suction power, it is likely time to clean the filter or run the self-clean cycle to remove mineral deposits.
