Product Information

Full details

The MHG Living 1.5 Tog Summer Duvet is an ideal choice for hot sleepers or those living in warmer climates who need a breathable, cooling solution for their bedding setup. Featuring a soft-touch microfibre cover and moisture-wicking hollowfibre filling, this duvet ensures a light, airy sleep experience; however, its low tog rating makes it unsuitable for winter use or cold bedrooms.

FAQs

Can I use this duvet in the winter?

No, this is a 1.5 Tog duvet designed specifically for summer and warm weather; it will not provide enough warmth for cold winter nights.

Is this duvet hypoallergenic?

Yes, the materials used are hypoallergenic, making it a great choice for those with common household allergies.

How often should I wash the duvet?

We recommend washing the duvet every 3 to 6 months to keep it fresh, or whenever necessary if spills occur.

Can I tumble dry this product?

While the product is designed for quick drying, check the care label on your specific item. We generally recommend air drying to preserve the fibres.

Does this duvet come with pillowcases?

This product is a standalone duvet; however, MHG Living does offer duvet and pillow sets if you require a matching ensemble.

Troubleshooting

Duvet feels flat after storage

Shake the duvet vigorously and leave it to air in a well-ventilated room for a few hours to allow the filling to regain its loft.

Moisture is building up

Ensure you are using a breathable cotton or linen duvet cover, as synthetic covers may inhibit the duvet's moisture-wicking capabilities.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the MHG Living Summer Duvet is straightforward; simply shake it out upon unboxing to allow the hollowfibre filling to loft. It is designed to fit standard duvet covers of the corresponding size. To maintain the integrity of the fill and the soft-touch surface, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash at 40 degrees Celsius using a mild detergent.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible. The duvet is designed for quick drying, making it convenient for busy laundry schedules.
Storage: When not in use during colder months, fold the duvet and store it in a breathable bag in a cool, dry place to prevent dust accumulation.
Avoid: Do not bleach or iron, as this may degrade the moisture-wicking fibres.
