The Uni-ball Posca PC-3M 8-pack is an essential tool for artists, crafters, and students who require precision and versatility in their creative projects. These markers are designed for detailed illustration and personalization across a wide variety of surfaces, offering opaque, quick-drying color that resists fading and water damage. While the markers provide excellent coverage on almost any material, users should be aware that the fine tip may require periodic shaking and priming to maintain consistent paint flow, especially after long periods of storage.

Yes, Posca markers are water-based and acid-free, making them generally safe for use by older children and students.
Yes, they work on fabric. For best results, heat-set the design with an iron (without steam) after the paint has fully dried.
The paint is water-resistant on most surfaces once dry, though on non-porous surfaces like glass, it can be removed with consistent scrubbing or glass cleaner.
Generally, no. The paint is quite opaque, but using a primer or gesso can help achieve an even more vibrant finish on very porous wood.
Yes, you can blend the colors while they are still wet by using a brush or by layering the marker directly on the surface.
Store them horizontally to ensure the pigment remains evenly mixed and the nib stays moist.
Ensure the cap is closed, shake the pen vigorously, and press the tip down repeatedly on a hard surface to prime it.
Remove the nib, rinse it under cold running water, let it air dry completely, and re-insert it before priming.
Apply a second layer after the first has dried completely to build opacity and achieve a solid finish.
To begin using your Posca markers, ensure the cap is on and shake the pen firmly to mix the internal paint. Press the nib down onto a scrap piece of paper repeatedly until the tip saturates with paint. For maintenance, always replace the cap tightly after every use to prevent the water-based ink from drying out in the nib. If a tip becomes clogged or dry, it can often be rinsed with cold water or replaced. Store these markers horizontally whenever possible to ensure an even distribution of paint within the barrel, which helps maintain consistent flow during your next project.
