Troubleshooting

Tap is dripping from the spout

This is often due to worn ceramic disc cartridges. Ensure the water supply is turned off, then remove the handle and access the cartridge. If replacement is needed, consult the product manual or a professional plumber.

Low water flow

Check for blockages in the aerator at the end of the spout or in the water supply hoses. Clean the aerator by gently unscrewing it and rinsing it under water. Ensure the isolation valves are fully open.

Push button waste is stiff or not operating smoothly

The push-button waste mechanism may require cleaning. Unscrew the cap of the push button, clean any debris from the mechanism, lubricate lightly if necessary, and reassemble. Ensure it is seated correctly.

Water leaks from the base of the tap

Check that the tap is securely fixed to the basin and that all seals and plumbing connections underneath are tight and correctly seated. Overtightening can sometimes damage seals, so ensure a firm but not excessive tightening.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: This mono basin mixer requires a single tap hole in the basin. Standard plumbing connections are usually sufficient, but it is recommended to have the installation performed by a qualified plumber to ensure correct fitting and to maintain the warranty. Ensure all connections are securely tightened to prevent leaks.

Compatibility: The tap is designed for standard UK water pressures. It is compatible with most standard basin types that feature a single tap hole. It is part of the Nuie Windon range, allowing for coordination with other fixtures in the same finish.

Care: To maintain the brushed bronze finish, clean the tap regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish. For limescale build-up, use a mild solution of water and vinegar, then rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. The push-button waste should be cleaned periodically by unscrewing the cap for access to internal components.
