Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Determine the exact location for mounting. Ensure the area is clear and the chosen spot accommodates the grill's dimensions (232mm x 116mm).
- Mark the positions of the ten mounting holes onto the surface.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations, appropriate for your chosen fasteners (screws not included).
- Align the grill over the drilled holes.
- Secure the grill using suitable screws or bolts. Ensure they are tightened sufficiently for a firm fit.
Compatibility:
This louvre vent is designed to be surface-mounted. It is compatible with a wide range of materials including wood, metal, and composite surfaces. Ensure the mounting surface is structurally sound to support the grill. The opening size required will be slightly less than the outer dimensions of the grill, depending on how much overlap is desired for mounting.
Care:
To maintain the polished mirror finish and corrosion resistance:
- Clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Mild soap can be used if necessary.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch the surface or damage the stainless steel's passive layer.
- Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after cleaning, especially if used in a marine environment, to remove any salt residue.
- Periodically inspect the mounting screws to ensure they remain tight.
