This Motul Classic SAE 50 Low Detergent Mineral Car Engine & Gear Oil is a mineral engine lubricant perfectly suitable for original engines as well as gearboxes built between 1900 and 1950. It is formulated with a very low detergent level for complete compatibility with paper, felt, and fabric gaskets. The oil has a small detergent level to avoid excessive soot and deposit removal in the lubricating circuit. It can be used as break-in oil if drain intervals are shortened and offers complete compatibility with nonferrous metals like brass, bronze, and copper. Reinforced adherence ensures easier startup, even after a long period of immobilization. This is a 4-stroke engine oil for classic cars and vehicles, with a recommended drain interval of at least once a year. Its viscosity is SAE J 300, 50, and it is a mineral monograde oil.
