The Autoglym Air-Con Sanitiser is an essential maintenance tool for vehicle owners looking to eliminate odors and harmful microorganisms from their car's climate control system. Designed for DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike, it delivers a high-level sanitizing treatment that kills 99.999% of bacteria and viruses, including H1N1 and SARS, in just 20 minutes. While it is highly effective at deep cleaning inaccessible pipework, users must ensure the vehicle is unoccupied during the treatment process and ventilated thoroughly afterward.

No, you must vacate the vehicle during the 20-minute treatment cycle and allow the vehicle to ventilate thoroughly before sitting in it again.
When used according to the instructions, the fine mist is designed to dissipate effectively, but ensure you follow the 'lock-and-leave' steps precisely to prevent over-saturation.
For optimal air quality, it is recommended to use the treatment as part of your annual car maintenance or whenever you notice a stale smell from the vents.
It is designed to remove the source of odors by killing the bacteria and viruses that cause them, rather than simply masking them with fragrance.
No, you must open the doors and windows to fully air out the vehicle for several minutes after the cycle ends to ensure the aerosol has dispersed.
Ensure the nozzle is pushed down firmly and straight into the lock position; check that the base of the trigger mechanism is not obstructed.
If odors remain, check if the cabin air filter (pollen filter) is saturated with debris or mold, as the filter may require a physical replacement in addition to the sanitizing treatment.
To ensure optimal results, park the vehicle on a level surface away from direct sunlight. Ensure that no people, pets, or plants are inside the vehicle during the treatment, as the concentrated sanitizing mist is intended for surfaces and air-duct hygiene.
Compatibility is universal across most passenger vehicles equipped with standard A/C systems. When finished, discard the empty canister according to local aerosol disposal regulations. Do not use this product in confined, unventilated spaces like a small garage; always perform the treatment in an open area to allow for proper air circulation post-application.
