Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, first remove the old, damaged screw from your sink strainer using a flathead or Phillips screwdriver, depending on the head type. Clear any debris or soap scum from the threads of the strainer body to ensure a smooth fit. Align the new screw through the basket hole and tighten until firm; do not overtighten to avoid stripping the threads.
Compatibility: This product is specifically designed for M12 threaded openings. Always check your existing screw dimensions using a caliper or ruler before ordering to ensure the 45mm length is appropriate for your specific sink depth.
Care: To extend the life of these screws, avoid using harsh industrial-strength chemicals directly on the drain hardware, as this can accelerate corrosion over time. Periodically rinse the screw head to remove food debris and lime scale buildup.
