Troubleshooting

Fireplace is not producing heat

Ensure the heat setting is engaged via the remote and the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than the current room temperature.

Remote control is unresponsive

Check the batteries in the remote control and ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the infrared receiver on the fireplace.

Unit makes noise during operation

Verify that the unit is level on the floor or correctly secured in the wall mount; vibrations can occur if the installation is not perfectly flush.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For recessed installation, ensure your wall cavity is measured precisely to accommodate the 60-inch chassis, keeping in mind proper ventilation requirements. If choosing the freestanding method, ensure the fireplace is placed on a flat, stable surface with adequate clearance from curtains or furniture. To maintain the unit, occasionally wipe the tempered glass with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep it smudge-free. Avoid using abrasive cleaners that could scratch the glass surface. During the off-season, you can unplug the unit and cover it to prevent dust accumulation inside the vents.
