The R.S.T. Cement Edger is an essential tool for masonry professionals and dedicated DIY enthusiasts who require a precision finish on their concrete projects. Featuring a 3/4-inch radius, this tool excels at creating durable, rounded edges that prevent chipping and frost damage, ensuring a professional-grade appearance for walkways and slabs. While the tool is built for durability, users should note that its fixed 6 x 3-inch size is optimized for straight edge work and may require alternative tools for tight curves or specialized decorative shaping.

The radius shapes the edge of the concrete to reduce the likelihood of chipping and helps protect the slab from damage caused by freezing and thawing cycles.
Yes, its ergonomic handle and straightforward design make it an excellent choice for both experienced contractors and home DIYers.
Rinse it thoroughly with water and use a soft brush to remove any residual concrete before it hardens.
It is primarily designed for structural concrete edging, though it can be used on decorative slabs where a standard rounded edge is desired.
Keep it away from harsh chemical solvents that might degrade the soft-touch material; regular water washing is sufficient.
Ensure the concrete has reached the correct set time and that the tool face is free of dried concrete buildup.
Wipe away excess concrete or moisture from the grip area and ensure the tool is held firmly against the form edge for better leverage.
Setup for this tool is straightforward: simply ensure the surface area is clear of debris before applying the tool to the edge. It is compatible with most standard concrete mixtures. To care for your tool, it is essential to clean the edger thoroughly with water immediately after each use. Concrete allowed to harden on the tool can compromise the smooth surface finish needed for future jobs. Store the tool in a dry environment to prevent corrosion and protect the integrity of the soft-touch handle material.
