The Sloomy Kansas Divan Bed is an ideal choice for homeowners seeking a stable, modern foundation for their mattress that combines British craftsmanship with architectural design. It features a premium platform-top base for consistent support and a dramatic 54-inch floor-standing headboard that serves as a stylish focal point for any bedroom. While the bed offers excellent structural integrity and aesthetic appeal, users should note that the large headboard requires sufficient wall clearance and vertical space for proper installation.

Yes, the bed comes with a 54-inch floor-standing headboard featuring vertical stitched panels.
This specific model features a standard platform-top base. Please check the specific MPN if you are looking for drawer configurations.
The Sloomy Kansas range is handcrafted in the United Kingdom.
The bed includes chrome gliders designed to protect floors while making the bed easier to reposition.
The platform-top base is versatile and supports all standard mattress types, including memory foam, pocket sprung, and hybrid mattresses.
Check that the pre-fitted metal clips are fully engaged and locked into place between the base sections.
Ensure the headboard is resting firmly on the floor and that all fixings connecting it to the base are tightened.
Ensure the chrome gliders are free from debris; if it remains difficult, use a furniture slider to avoid carpet snagging.
To set up your Sloomy Kansas Divan, ensure you have enough floor space to lay out the base sections before joining them with the provided metal clips. The headboard is floor-standing; it should be aligned behind the bed and secured according to your preference to ensure it does not lean. For compatibility, this base works well with almost any standard mattress type. To care for your bed, vacuum the upholstered surfaces periodically using a soft brush attachment to remove dust. If you need to move the bed, lift slightly on the side of the gliders to avoid putting undue stress on the frame joints. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners on the pink upholstery; a gentle damp cloth is sufficient for spot cleaning.
