FAQs

Can this harness be used in the water?

Yes, the technical mesh is designed for performance, though it is recommended to rinse it with fresh water after saltwater exposure.

How do I measure my dog for this harness?

Measure your dog's girth at the widest part of their ribcage, typically just behind the front legs, and reference the specific sizing chart for your model.

Does this harness work for escape-artist dogs?

While the harness provides a secure fit, it is not an anti-escape harness. Always ensure it is properly adjusted to the dog's measurements.

Is the front clip safe for all dogs?

Yes, the reinforced chest strap is designed for training and redirection, but should be used with a standard leash.

How do I clean the harness?

Hand wash with mild detergent and air dry away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Harness shifting or sliding to one side

Re-adjust the four strap points to ensure even tension across the chest and girth.

Dog is experiencing rubbing or irritation

Loosen the straps slightly to ensure a fit that is secure but not restrictive, and verify no fur is caught in the adjustment hardware.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up your harness, loosen all four adjustment points before placing it over your dog's head. Once the harness is positioned, fasten the side buckles and adjust the straps at the neck and girth until the harness sits snugly but allows for two fingers to slide underneath. The harness is compatible with most standard leashes and The Beacon safety light. For care, hand wash the harness using mild detergent and air dry to maintain the integrity of the technical mesh and reflective materials.
