FAQs

Is this product a complete and balanced meal?

No, Natures Menu Raw Beef Chunks are described as a treat or a meat component for home-prepared raw meals. They are not a complete meal on their own and would require balancing with other nutrients if used as a primary food source.

Can I feed this to a dog not on a raw diet?

No, this product is only suitable for dogs that have been 100% raw-fed for a minimum of four weeks. Introducing raw meat suddenly to a dog on a kibble diet can cause digestive upset.

How should I store the beef chunks?

Keep the product frozen until ready to use. Once defrosted in the refrigerator, it should be used within 48 hours.

What are the main ingredients in this product?

The product is made of 100% beef.

Can puppies eat these beef chunks?

Yes, this product is suitable from 12 weeks old, provided the puppy has been 100% raw-fed for a minimum of four weeks.

Do I need to cook these beef chunks?

No, these are raw beef chunks and should always be fed raw, never cooked.

What is the pack size?

The pack size for this product is 1kg.

Troubleshooting

Dog refusing to eat the beef chunks

Ensure the product is fully defrosted. Some dogs may need time to adjust to new textures or flavors. Try offering it as a smaller piece initially or mixed with a familiar food.

Product appears to be thawing during transit

If the product arrives partially thawed, do not refreeze. Refrigerate immediately and use within 48 hours. Contact the retailer or Natures Menu customer service if the product is significantly thawed and poses a safety risk.

Dog experiencing digestive upset

As this is a single-ingredient meat product, digestive upset might occur if the dog is not accustomed to raw food or has a sensitive stomach. Introduce gradually and consult a veterinarian if issues persist.
