Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
These stair treads are designed for installation on existing stair frames or as window sills. Ensure you have appropriate tools and fasteners (screws, adhesive, etc. – not included) for secure mounting. For stair installation, measure and plan your layout carefully, ensuring each tread is level and securely attached. For window sill use, ensure the surface is flat and stable before placement or adhesion.
Compatibility:
These treads are designed to fit standard stair dimensions but may require adjustments for non-standard stairs. They are compatible with most common stair construction methods. As window sills, they can be placed on most flat window ledges.
Care:
To maintain the rich appearance and longevity of the solid oak treads, simple care is required. Clean the surface regularly with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials, as these can damage the wood finish. For spills or marks, wipe them up immediately. Periodically, you may consider applying a suitable wood oil or sealant to further protect the wood and enhance its natural beauty, following the product manufacturer's recommendations for oak wood.
