FAQs

Is the Djeco Tinyly Playhouse compatible with other toy lines?

The playhouse is specifically scaled for the Djeco Tinyly collection figures, though other similarly sized small dolls may fit.

What is the playhouse made of?

It is crafted from sustainably sourced, high-quality cardboard and paper.

Does this set include any accessories other than the figures?

The set includes the foldable house structure, the Sylvia figure, and the fox companion.

Can the house get wet?

No, because the playset is constructed from paper and cardboard, it must be kept dry and is not suitable for water-based play.

How do I store the house after use?

Simply remove any loose items, fold the side panels inward, and use the integrated magnetic closure to lock the carry case.

What age group is this intended for?

This product is generally intended for children aged 4 years and older who enjoy imaginative play.

Troubleshooting

Magnetic closure is not staying shut

Ensure that the internal cardboard flaps are fully folded and not obstructed by the figures or accessories stored inside.

Structure feels unstable when opened

Check that the floor panels are fully flattened against the play surface and that the hinged walls are extended to their full width.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Portable design makes it easy to transport and store
Highly detailed and whimsical artwork
Encourages creative and open-ended imaginative play
Includes both a primary figure and a companion pet
Uses sustainable materials

Cons

Cardboard structure is less durable than plastic alternatives
Requires careful storage to prevent bending or tearing
Not suitable for water play despite the river-themed decoration

Setup, Compatibility & Care

The playhouse is designed for immediate use right out of the box; no complex assembly is required. To set up, simply unfasten the magnetic closure and unfold the structure to reveal the interior rooms. It is fully compatible with all other figures in the Djeco Tinyly series, allowing for expanded storytelling. Regarding care, because the unit is made of reinforced cardboard and paper, it should be kept away from liquids and moisture. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the case when folded, as this may compromise the structural integrity of the walls. To clean, gently wipe with a dry cloth; do not use liquid cleaners, as these will damage the paper finish.
