FAQs

What is the primary material composition?

The shorts are crafted from a linen blend fabric, with a cotton lining for added comfort.

How do the double pleats affect the fit?

The double pleats create a beautifully draped, wide-leg shape that offers a relaxed yet structured feel, skimming the thigh.

Are these shorts suitable for a formal office environment?

Yes, their tailored cut, high-rise waist, and refined fabric make them ideal for corporate settings and client lunches.

Can I machine wash these shorts?

No, these shorts are dry clean only to maintain their shape and fabric quality.

What type of footwear pairs best with these shorts?

Pointed-toe heeled mules, block-heeled sandals, or classic pumps complement the tailored silhouette. Loafers can also work for a smart-casual look.

How should I store these shorts to prevent wrinkles?

Hang them on a padded hanger to maintain their shape and minimize creasing. Avoid folding them tightly.

What does 'high-rise waist' mean for the fit?

A high-rise waist sits at or above your natural waistline, defining the waist and creating a flattering, elongated silhouette.

Troubleshooting

Shorts appear creased after wear.

This is common with linen blends. Use a steamer or iron on a medium setting on the reverse side to remove creases. Consider professional dry cleaning for a crisp finish.

Fabric feels stiff.

Ensure the shorts are aired out. If the stiffness is due to storage, a gentle steam or iron may help relax the fibers. Follow care label instructions strictly.

Pockets feel bulky.

Ensure items placed in the pockets are not overly large or rigid, which could disrupt the clean silhouette. The pockets are designed for minimal, sleek storage.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These shorts require no 'setup' as they are a ready-to-wear garment. Compatibility is with other wardrobe items, particularly tops and footwear that complement a tailored aesthetic.

Care Instructions:

Dry Clean Only: To maintain the integrity and sharp finish of the linen blend fabric, dry cleaning is recommended.
Ironing: If ironing is necessary, use a medium heat setting. It is advisable to iron on the reverse side of the fabric, especially over the pleats, to avoid damaging the texture.
Storage: Hang the shorts on a padded hanger to preserve the shape of the waistband and prevent creasing.
