Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: These screws are designed for immediate use. Select the appropriate screw size and head type for your application. Ensure you are using a screwdriver or drill with a compatible bit (e.g., Phillips head) for the screw head. Drive the screw steadily into the target material until it is securely fastened. For harder metals, a pilot hole of a slightly smaller diameter than the screw's minor diameter may facilitate easier driving and prevent excessive force.
Compatibility: Primarily designed for use with metals, including steel and aluminum. They can also be effective in certain plastics. While they can sometimes engage in softer woods, standard wood screws are generally recommended for wood applications for optimal holding power.
Care: Keep the screws in their original resealable case to prevent loss and contamination. Store the case in a dry environment to maintain the stainless steel's anti-corrosion properties. Periodically check the case for any signs of damage that could compromise the organization or protection of the screws.
