How do I clean the clock?

Troubleshooting

Clock is not running

Ensure a new, good quality AA battery is inserted correctly, paying attention to polarity. Check if the battery compartment is securely closed.

Time is inaccurate or losing time

Replace the current AA battery with a brand new, high-quality one. Excessive humidity or extreme temperatures can also affect accuracy; relocate the clock if necessary.

Numerals or hands appear discolored

This may be a manufacturing defect. Contact customer support if within the warranty period. Avoid using cleaning chemicals that could affect the finish.

Clock makes a ticking noise

A gentle ticking sound is normal for most quartz mantel clocks. If the noise is excessively loud or irregular, check the battery and ensure the clock is on a stable surface.
