This brush is designed for cleaning the interior of tubes and pipes, particularly those around 20mm in diameter, to remove debris, rust, or buildup.
The bristles are made of brass, which offers good cleaning power without being overly abrasive for most metal tube surfaces.
While it can be used on rigid plastic tubes, exercise caution as the stiff brass bristles may potentially scratch softer plastics. It is best suited for metal applications.
Each package contains 5 brass wire tube brushes.
The total length of each brush is 30cm (11.8 inches).
Rinse the brush with water after each use to remove debris. Allow it to air dry completely to maintain its condition.
It can be used for cleaning specific internal engine components or fuel lines that match the 20mm diameter, provided they are compatible with brass bristles.
Ensure the tube diameter is compatible with the 20mm brush. If the tube is slightly smaller, try a gentle, twisting motion. For very tight fits, consider a brush with a smaller diameter.
Reduce the force applied. Ensure there are no sharp obstructions within the tube. Do not force the brush if it meets significant resistance.
Pre-rinse the tube if possible. Rotate the brush while inserting and withdrawing it. For very stubborn debris, consider using a cleaning solution in conjunction with the brush.
Setup: No assembly is required. The brush is ready for immediate use.
Compatibility: This brush is specifically designed for tubes with an internal diameter of approximately 20mm (0.79"). It is compatible with brass, metal, and similar rigid materials. Avoid use on very soft plastics or delicate surfaces that could be scratched.
Care: After use, rinse the brush thoroughly with water to remove debris. For stubborn residue, a mild degreaser can be used. Allow the brush to air dry completely before storing to prevent rust or corrosion on the metal components. Periodically inspect bristles for damage.
