The Bosch EXPERT Multihole Sanding Pad is a premium accessory designed for professional woodworkers and contractors using the GEX 18V-150-3 random orbital sander. Its primary benefit is the specialized multi-hole design that facilitates superior dust extraction, which keeps your workspace cleaner and extends the life of your abrasive sheets by preventing clogging. The main caveat is that its performance is optimized specifically for Bosch professional systems, meaning it may not provide the same benefits if used with incompatible third-party tools.

It is specifically designed for the Bosch GEX 18V-150-3 Professional random orbital sander.
While it can accommodate various 150mm discs, you will achieve the best dust extraction results by using discs that match the multi-hole pattern.
This pad is 150mm in diameter.
Replace the pad when the hook-and-loop material no longer holds discs firmly or if the soft foam becomes cracked or uneven.
The product package typically includes the pad; always retain the original mounting screws from your tool.
Check the hook-and-loop surface for debris or fiber buildup. Clean with a soft brush or replace the pad if the hooks are worn.
Verify that the dust extraction port is clear and that the sanding sheet holes are perfectly aligned with the pad holes.
Ensure the mounting screws are tightened correctly and that the sanding sheet is centered on the 150mm pad.
To install, ensure your sander is disconnected from power or the battery is removed. Align the sanding pad mounting holes with the screws on the GEX 18V-150-3 base, and tighten securely. Always ensure the holes in your sanding sheet are aligned with the holes in the pad before starting your sander. For maintenance, periodically tap the pad to clear out trapped fine dust and inspect the hook-and-loop face for wear. If the hook-and-loop material loses its 'grip,' it is time to replace the pad to ensure safety and prevent the disc from detaching during operation.
