Philips MasterColour CDM-T 150W/942 Metal Halide Lamp. This single-ended, compact metal halogen vapour discharge bulb offers unlimited possibilities and a significant upgrade. Key advantages include stable light colour throughout its lifespan, high bulb effectiveness leading to lower operating costs, and a long lifespan compared to traditional incandescent and halogen bulbs. Its relatively low heat dispersion enhances comfort for users. The bulb boasts very good light quality, wonderful colour stability, and high brightness due to its small axial discharge arch and compact bulb size. It is ideal for sales rooms, shop windows, offices, and public buildings, as well as decorative outdoor lighting like floodlights and pedestrian zones. Please note: This bulb is only suitable for use in closed luminaires (IEC61167, IEC 62035, IEC60598). If a bulb breaks, the luminaire must securely contain the hot bulb fragments. Operation requires a suitable ballast (HID-PV recommended) and ballasts must feature 'End of Life' shut-down (IEC61167, IEC 62035). CDM-T 20W/830 and 35W/942 require specific ballasts. This lamp has a G12 base, a power of 150W, and a colour temperature of 4200K (Neutral white). It provides a luminous flux of 12000lm and has a luminous efficacy of 85lm/W. The lamp shape is a tube, single-ended, made from a ceramic discharge tube. It can be used in any burning position, has a diameter of 19mm, and a total length of 105mm. An external ignitor and external ballast are required, and it must be used in a closed luminaire. The colour is White with a colour code of 942.
