Product Information

Full details

The Shires Rubber Covered Jointed Dee Bit features soft rubber to make it more gentle on your horses mouth. This D-ring snaffle also aids with steering and prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth, an excellent choice for young horses. The single joint puts pressure on the sides of the tongue, on the lips and on the bars due to the nutcracker action. Use with one of our stunning Horse Bridles. For more information about bits, take a look at our Horse Bits Buying Guide. Available in 4.5", 5", or 5.5". Mouthpiece thickness: 16mm. Cheek height: 70mm.
