Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your DIY Sheds unit, the most critical step is the preparation of a level, solid foundation—ideally concrete or paving slabs. Assemble the unit on a calm, dry day to keep panels clean during the process. While the shed comes with galvanized hardware to resist rust, it is recommended to apply a quality wood preservative annually to the exterior cladding. Periodically inspect the roof felt for tears or loose edges to prevent water ingress. Ensure all pre-cut panels are accounted for before starting assembly and use a cordless drill to speed up the installation of the provided screws.
